HQ Logistics Center North: Steel Meets Concrete

Construction activities at the Logistics North building component have been underway since early July. While work in recent weeks focused primarily on below-ground and ground-level operations—among other things on the sprinkler control center in the basement as well as on the strip foundations—the next construction phase is now beginning:

  • Steel construction with columns and trusses in the high-bay warehouse area
  • Precast concrete construction in the receiving and order-picking areas
  • Completion of the structural shell of the sprinkler control center

The Logistics North building is therefore now beginning to take shape and is scheduled for completion by mid-2026. The approximately 7,500 m² of gross floor area will serve as the future central warehouse for the Balmung Medical Group, thereby sustainably strengthening the reliability and resilience of European healthcare supply chains.

Outlook on further project components: By the end of the year, construction works on Office Tower 1 will commence. This will create flexibly configurable, high-end office spaces for lease in one of the country’s most prestigious buildings—suitable for small, medium-sized, and large companies alike (units starting from 150 m²).
